King’s College London is pleased to announce the CMA CGM Excellence Fund for Education.

Award details

This initiative is made possible through the generous support of CMA CGM, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions. The fund will provide scholarships for postgraduate scholars from Lebanon over the next three years.

The scholarship will fund Lebanese nationals on Masters programmes in 2025/26 academic year.   

Award value

Scholarships will cover a full tuition fee waiver and stipend of £20,000 for Masters students in the 2025/26 academic year.

Eligibility criteria

Eligible candidates must:

  • be a Lebanese national - preference will be given to those ordinarily resident in Lebanon
  • be classified as Overseas Fee Status
  • be applying for a one year Master's programme in 2025/26 (All Master's programmes are eligible except for MBA and Executive Education)

**NOTE: preference will be given to applicants applying to programmes within

  • King's Business School
  • Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences
  • Faculty of Social Sciences & Public Policy

 

Award conditions

In addition to the above eligibility, applicants who are awarded this scholarship will be required to have met university English entry requirements (Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this programme).

Travel costs such as visa application costs and flights are not included as part of this scholarship at King's.

This award is for students starting in the academic year 2025/26 and cannot be deferred.

Funding will not cover repeat years, interruptions or withdrawal from study.

Please note, successful scholars will be expected submit an update of progress each year that will be shared with the donors.

Application process

  • Submission of personal statement which should demonstrate financial need and the impact receiving this bursary will have.  
  • Please ensure you answer all questions and complete all sections of the online application form. The questions on the form are designed to establish your financial and academic circumstances as clearly as possible.
  • You will need to submit documentary evidence with your application. If these are not submitted, your application cannot be considered.
