The Access to Professions Bursary will offer up to 83 first year bursaries of £9,000 to full-time home fee status students who undertake an eligible Access to Professions programme, starting in September 2023.

Award value
Bursaries are worth £9,000 each in total, and will be paid as a cash bursary of £3,000 per year for the first three years of your course.
Eligibility criteria
Eligible programmes are:
Access to the Professions Bursaries will be will be targeted to help home students with household incomes of £42,875 or less. In order to be eligible, students must:
- have ‘firmly’ accepted an offer of a place at King’s on an eligible programme;
- be undertaking their first undergraduate degree programme;
- have been means tested and have a household income of £42,875 or less.
Please note that meeting these criteria alone does not guarantee selection for a scholarship.
Award conditions
You do not need to apply for this award. Provided that you meet the above criteria, and have given your 'consent to share' financial information with the College as part of your application to Student Finance England, you will be notified at the start of December 2023 if you have been awarded a bursary.
Please ensure that you have completed and finalised your application with Student Finance England by 17 November 2023, in order to be considered.
If additional bursaries are available beyond this date, the deadline will be extended periodically.
