As Assessment Period 2 fast approaches, it’s completely normal to feel a little overwhelmed. We’ve all been there - staring at endless notes, wondering where to even begin. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to navigate revision alone.

King’s offers a range of tailored support sessions designed to help you study smarter, manage stress, and walk into your exams with confidence. Trust me, making the most of these resources can be a game-changer.

Success in exams isn’t just about how much you study - it’s about how you study. You could spend hours rereading textbooks, but without strategy, it might not stick. That’s where these support options come in…

Mastering your technique with Academic Skills workshops

King’s is running two key Academic Skills workshops this assessment period to help sharpen your exam strategy.

These expert-led sessions are all about efficiency as they cover how to structure your revision, master time management, and fine-tune exam techniques.

If you’re prone to last-minute cramming (guilty as charged!), these sessions can help you create a realistic study schedule.

Study groups: Two (or more) heads are better than one

Let’s be honest: revising alone can feel like an uphill battle. But discussing your ideas with peers? That’s where real learning happens.

Study groups help break down tricky topics, spark fresh insights, and boost motivation. Plus, they make revision feel less isolating - it's a win-win!

How to join: Contact your department or student reps to find out about faculty-led study groups or form your own with classmates.
