Planned tube strikes this November: information and guidance

London Underground tube tunnel strike (800 x 450 px)

Disruption is expected on London Underground services on Sunday 3 November, Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 November, and Tuesday 12 November.

See below for a full breakdown of the strike days:

Sunday 3 November

  • Tube services will finish earlier than normal
  • Complete your journey by 17.00

Tuesday 5 November and Wednesday 6 November:

  • Severe disruption
  • Any services that run will start late and finish early.

Thursday 7 November

  • No Tube services

Friday 8 November

  • Severe disruption on the Tube, including Night Tube
  • Any services that run will start late and finish early.

Saturday 9 November

  • Tube services will start late

Tuesday 12 November

  • Severe disruption on the Tube
  • Any services that run will start late and finish early.

The University will be open as usual and teaching will go ahead on campus as scheduled unless your department tells you otherwise.

Some access points to our buildings may be closed. Please look out for signage directing you to the nearest entrance or exit. 

If you are travelling to and from campus, please check the National Rail and Transport for London websites before you travel. Buses and taxis will be very busy on the strike days and you should allow extra time for your journey.
