Looking to build skills in project management and/or implementation while taking collective climate action? Then join the King’s Climate Action Network (CAN) - an open, interdisciplinary forum that brings together people from the King’s community to co-create the university’s climate action journey.
This year, the CAN will be structured into Action Teams implementing actions from the Sustainability & Climate Action Plan. The currently proposed groups include actions around Education for Sustainability, engagement with local schools, a project with King’s Food, and a cycling project.
There are different ways you can get involved with varying levels of commitment:
- Climate Action Team Coordinators: paid and trained part-time students leading an action team of volunteers
- Climate Action Team Volunteers: students, staff, and alumni who want to work on implementing actions
- Set up your own project about a topic your particularly passionate about, with the CAN's support
- Climate Action Network members: receive updates and invitations to relevant events
Find out more about each of these roles in the King’s Sustainability blog.
We will communicate it with the King's CAN when applications open for the Climate Action Team Coordinators.
