This Arts Council England-commissioned research looks at how leadership is being developed in the arts, museums and libraries in England.
It explores how leadership values and behaviours relate to organisational outcomes, and how interventions work to develop executive leadership skills. The evidence underpinning the findings in this report was drawn from four sources: a rapid evidence assessment, an online survey, interviews and focus groups.
The report also highlights the existing and likely future skills gaps across the cultural and creative industries, and the implications these could have for the arts sector.
