Our Physics MSc will advance your knowledge and experience of conducting complex research in rapidly developing and exciting fields. 


With a wide choice of optional modules, our masters covers a broad range of cutting edge research areas, including particle physics and cosmology, experimental biophysics and nanotechnology as well as theory and simulation of condensed matter. 

Our friendly and supportive department welcomes students from all over the world to join our ranks of internationally renowned scientists, who provide outstanding research-led teaching to the next generation of physicists.

Alongside course modules, you will undertake a major research project, equipping you with expertise in planning, administration, executing and disseminating research, developing you as active scientist and enabling you to pursue your passions.
