We are very proud of the success our postgraduates have had in finding jobs in philosophy. We pay special attention to training our graduate students for prospective philosophy careers, and also to supporting them in their applications for academic jobs. Of the 169 students who have gained a PhD from us in the last few decades, 114 have gone on to take up posts in philosophy and cognate fields. Below is a list of current or most recent posts held by our former students, arranged by date of graduation. Of the remaining third of our students, not listed here, several do still remain philosophically active after they leave us, with part-time teaching positions or research publications; while others choose to leave the profession of their own accord, in order to pursue other interests.
