Practice Learning for our nurses and midwives

These pages are for health and care professionals and King's staff involved in programmes that include practice learning, delivered by the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care. They are also for students studying these programmes.

Practice learning plays a vital role in the education of pre-registration nurses and midwives, as well as some of our specialist professional programmes. For example, fifty percent of the students' pre-registration learning takes place within the practice setting. Healthcare professionals and university staff involved are key to the effective preparation of our future nurses and midwives.
