Columbus, Ohio, 13-16 March 2025

NIHSA member Professor Lydia Walker (Ohio State University) has made a call for co-panellists for the 2025 AAS conference. The leadership programme committee -chaired by is Durba Ghosh- strives for greater inclusivity of South Asia as a regional focus, as well as a push for more diverse panels in format and composition.

The proposal deadline is Wednesday, 7 August , 2024 at 5:00pm EST

AAS has a degree of competitive financial support for potentially one scholar per panel submission from a non-Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) country as well as NOT Taiwan, Singapore, or Hong Kong. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and South Africa would all count. This request would need to be part of the panel proposal.

Please contact Professor Walker walker.1380@osu.edu by July 9th
