Our fees

Fee structure for 2024/25

Evening and Saturday language course fees are to be paid in full at the time of enrolment. We are unable to accept payment of fees in cash, payment must be made through our online booking system, King’s Apply.    

Concession fees: 

We offer a range of concessions to the King's & UoL** community. This includes King’s* & UoL students, staff & alumni and King’s Health Partners (KHP).

*King's student status: In order to qualify for the King's student concession, you must be currently enrolled as a degree seeking student of King's College London as defined by the University.

**UoL students, alumni and staff not sure if your institution is part of the group - you can check here UoL group.  

Note: Part 3 of courses is offered based on demand.  Please contact the office should you require further information.

• King's graduates are entitled to the alumni discount. Please note that student or alumnus discount is only for a programme with an awarding degree eg. BA, BSc, MA, PhD."
• Concessionary fees are available to University of London (UoL) staff, students and alumni. Please see the list of colleges within UoL on the link at the end of this section • Students and staff should be current UoL students/staff at the start of the course.
• Please note that the term ‘alumni’ is used to refer to graduates and holders of a certifiable qualification from applicable institutions. You will be asked to show evidence of eligibility. Students failing to provide evidence will be invoiced for the full fee.
• We regret that we are unable to offer the concessionary fees retrospectively.
• King's Health Partners (KHP) staff including, The South London and Maudsley trust (SLaM), Guy's and St Thomas' trust (GSTT) and King's College Hospital staff are eligible for the concessionary fees.

Concession fees for 45 hour-courses

Book a 45 hour-course and receive a 10% discount off the total price.

Our 45 hour-courses enable you to book the whole level in one payment, confirming your course for the full 45 hours. Please note that there is only a limited selection of languages and levels offered and courses are taught in the intensive and standard format.

Fees paid by employers/sponsors 

If your course is being funded by an employer or sponsor, please note that we no longer accept sponsored fees at the application point. Please contact us and we will provide receipts for indviduals to provide to their sponsor. 

Refund policy

Students may withdraw from a part or 45 hour-course and request a refund within 14 days of payment (commencement of contract with the KLC, upon receipt of payment confirmation email). After this period there will be no possibility of a refund. To request a refund, please email languagecentreshortcourse@kcl.ac.uk

  • Winter term courses: Enrol by 23.59 on Thursday 9th January 2025. Teaching starts w/c 20th January 2025.
  • Winter Intensive courses: Enrol by 23.59 on Thursday 20th February 2025. Teaching starts w/c 24th January 2025.
  • Spring term courses: Enrol by 23.59 on Thursday 10th April 2025. Teaching starts w/c 22nd April 2025.
  • Spring Intensive courses: Enrol by 23.59 on Thursday 22nd May 2025. Teaching starts w/c 2nd June 2025.
  • Spring term courses: Enrolment closes at 23.59 Thursday 11 April 2024. Teaching starts w/c 20 April.
