The School of Medicine is the first Sino-British medical school in China.

We are excited to have finally welcomed our first cohort of students to the new SUSTech King’s School of Medicine, Joint Education Institute.
King’s has partnered with the Southern University School of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen, located in the booming Greater Bay Area of Southern China.
Our first programmes are in Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences. They combine the excellent educational resources of King’s with the innovation and enterprise of SUSTech. The programmes are taught in English by teachers from both universities, providing students with a truly global perspective. This will open-up broad opportunities to study and work in industry, healthcare, and research, both in China and abroad.
Over the next few years, we hope to expand to develop more collaborative programmes in the medical and health-related disciplinary areas, to create a comprehensive JEI consistent with our longer-term shared vision.
