The exhibitions and events are developed between artists, scientists and young adults, including young leaders from the community. With free entry, why not grab a coffee or a bite to eat in the café?
Enjoy a moment of calm in the beautiful Guy’s Courtyard, or wander through to find peace and quiet in the Memorial Garden, now home to a silver medal-winning garden from Chelsea Flower Show.
Strand Campus
Step inside the iconic Bush House, former home to the BBC and now one of King’s flagship teaching and research spaces, which also hosts exhibitions and events. The ground floor café serves light lunches and is the perfect pit stop before enjoying the exhibitions.
Denmark Hill Campus
The nearby Café at the ORTUS is open to all, has free Wi-Fi and serves delicious meals and snacks.

Looking for free legal advice? King's Legal Clinic could help you. Our law students work under the supervision of qualified lawyers to provide free legal advice on social enterprises and start-ups, immigration and asylum and cycling injuries.

Dental care
King's student dentists provide dental treatment as part of their training, free of charge, to individuals with needs that are suitable for students under supervision. A range of treatments is available but as the students are still learning, treatments will take longer than with your local NHS dentist and you may need several appointments.

Prayer and worship
There are three chapels within King’s, at the Strand, Guy’s and St Thomas’ campuses.
- College Chapel, Strand Campus: Visitors are welcome to attend the Chapel’s regular services during term time. Individual visitors, or small groups of up to five people, are welcome to view the Chapel when it is not being used for a service or event; ask at the Reception desk on the Strand.
- Chapel of Thomas Guy, Guy’s Campus: While regular services are only available to King’s staff and students, visitors are welcome to Special services, such as Carols by Candlelight.
- Hospital Chapel, St Thomas’ Campus: While regular services are only available to King’s staff and students, visitors are welcome to Special services, such as Carols by Candlelight.
Our campuses also have Muslim prayer rooms and other prayer facilities, typically for the use of staff and students, or patients and their relatives.
