King’s Law Journal is a legal periodical with an international readership that has been running since 1990. The journal publishes scholarly and authoritative articles on legal issues of importance to academic researchers and legal practitioners. The journal aims to publish new work of the highest calibre across the full range of legal scholarship and publishes refereed contributions from the UK and internationally.

The School began an open access research papers series on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) in 2014. The series covers a broad range of methodologies and topics of legal scholarship. The papers are published electronically and are freely available online or through email distribution.

The King’s Student Law Review (KSLR) is edited by King’s students and seeks to publish the very best of legal scholarship written by students at King's and other leading law schools.
Established in 2008, KSLR is a prestigious publication that has wide online presence and is listed in the international database HeinOnline.
KSLR welcomes submissions from law students of all levels internationally, concerning any area of UK domestic law, European and International law. Submissions from legal professionals are accepted, if they are of a high academic standard. The Board accepts papers about 5,000-7,000 words in length.
