Language Courses for King’s Students

Free language modules & courses

Both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students can choose optional language modules if their degree allows it. Postgraduate students can also apply to study one postgraduate-only, non-assessed language course for free if they aren’t taking any languages as part of their course.

Enrollment for these modules opens in September for the new academic year.

External candidates and University of London students can also study a language module at King’s, but fees apply.

Discounted evening and weekend courses

All King’s students can get a discount of almost 30% on evening and weekend courses while they’re studying.

When you graduate, you’ll still benefit from nearly 15% off courses. This discount is extended to University of London students, as well as King’s alumni, staff and Health Partners.

Learn a language with a doctoral learning community

As part of the Language Centre collaboration with the London Arts and Humanities Partnership (LAHP), Consortium for the Humanities & The Arts South-East England (CHASE) and South, West & Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWW), we have developed language modules designed to cater for research students.

Courses are tailored to the needs of students based on their PhD studies and students can bring in class materials linked to their research or special interests.
