The Global Health MSc at King’s College London is based in the School of Life Course and Population Science within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine. Students from diverse disciplinary and national contexts are equipped to adopt an inter-disciplinary approach to understanding global health and become familiar with the language and discourses within different health-related disciplines, including political science, international relations, anthropology, economics, public health and the clinical sciences. Students will cover topics such as the global disease burden, the structure of health systems and the history of aid and development, alongside the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of modules across our department and outside. The MSc focuses on developing skills in research and critical analysis as well as health systems strengthening programme design skills, preparing students for careers in policy and advocacy, research, NGOs and as clinicians engaging in bi-directional, equitable health partnerships.
