We believe the contemporary leader needs a high level of both hard and soft skills – expertise in policy analysis and digital technology, in addition to the ability to communicate, listen and disagree well, all combined with a nuanced understanding of the dynamics of power.

Developed by leading King’s academics in partnership with digital entrepreneurs, politicians, policymakers, design experts and other practitioners, our courses offer new perspectives on contemporary governance issues.

Our suite of innovative executive education short courses are flexible, fully online and uniquely blend academic rigour and practical application in order to equip public servants and policy practitioners across the world with the skills and knowledge they need to be effective. Each four-week course is designed for mid-career professionals, is accredited at master’s level and includes:

  • Structured interactive online content including videos, reflective exercises and case-studies.
  • Four live, small group webinars with a King’s College London Lecturer and a peer group of mid-career practitioners.
  • Regular opportunities for discussion and networking with fellow students via online forums.
  • Full access to research papers and articles via King’s College London’s online library.
  • A short assessment, leading to the award of five master’s-level credits and a certificate of achievement.
