This research group is an institutionalised, cross-departmental network of students and researchers focused on the Middle East and North Africa within the Institute of Middle Eastern Studies (IMES). The group meets regularly and engages with relevant organisations and societies working on the MENA region around the world. All public events are advertised via King's College London and everyone is welcome.
The group is being convened by Amine Ghoulidi (amine.ghoulidi@kcl.ac.uk).
Ahou Koutchesfahani and Sofia Patel are this year’s conference organisers for the IMES annual conference 2021 taking place in autumn. The conference will focus on the Gulf and Iran. They can be contacted via menakcl2020@gmail.com.
