The Greenwood Theatre provides an excellent space for performances of all kinds, and is commonly host to plays, musicals, dance events, variety shows, cultural evenings and choir concerts.
The stage is 19m wide and 10m deep, with the option of an orchestra pit, and has a full fly tower with 32 bars for scenery, masking and lighting. We have 6 dressing rooms of different sizes ultimately capable of accommodating a cast of up to 60. There is also a costume, props and make-up room, a scene dock, and the large upper foyer area which can be used for warming up pre-show. We can provide a large range of equipment, including lighting, microphones, scenery, rostra and tools.
With any booking of the theatre, one of the theatre staff will be on hand to assist in every element of your time here. All are capable of training your operators on our technical equipment, as well as being able to help, advise and provide another pair of hands during set up. Additionally, we supply trained ushering staff for the purpose of ticket checking and evacuation marshalling.
