Start-ups and small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) are BIG business. They account for three fifths of employment in the UK and around 99.9% of the UK’s business population (Federation of Small Businesses).
Working in a start-up or small team can give you valuable practical skills and knowledge in a range of areas, from business planning and sustainability, to sales and digital marketing.
Each year we offer two paid opportunities to current King’s students.
Entrepreneurial Summer Internships
Gain first-hand experience in a start-up by working with one of King’s ventures!
- 9-week internship available over the summer
- Open to current King's students from a widening participation background (Read our full eligibility criteria)
- Roles include marketing, business development, product engineering and more.
- Paid above London Living Wage (£14.88 per/hour).

- 8th - 16th May: Shortlisting
- 26th May - 6th June: Interviews
- 16th June: Programme starts
- 15th August: Programme ends
