Get experience

Ever thought about what it’s like to work in a start-up?

Start-ups and small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) are BIG business. They account for three fifths of employment in the UK and around 99.9% of the UK’s business population (Federation of Small Businesses).

Working in a start-up or small team can give you valuable practical skills and knowledge in a range of areas, from business planning and sustainability, to sales and digital marketing.

Each year we offer two paid opportunities to current King’s students.

Associates

Work for the EI team alongside your studies - share your ideas and support our work!

  • Flexible, part-time paid roles available on a one-year contract.
  • Work on a variety of assignments including event support, research and administration tasks, social media marketing and more.

The thing I’ve liked most is the range of different activities I’ve undertaken, including attending focus groups, coming up with ideas and talking to different students. I’ve never encountered such an emphasis on personal development in any of my previous jobs.

Selin Akdemir, Law student and Operations Superstar (now Associate).
