Free advertising of your own events
Whether hosting live webinars, presentations and insight days, Q&A sessions or case studies, office tours and dinners to show off your offices, we're conscious that many employers will choose to run virtual or off-campus events for a number of universities your're targeting - so we've made it easy to advertise these with us for free.
Before autumn semester, our team can also help schedule these activities at King's, confirming a slot in our calendar to minimise potential clashes with competitor organisations and then promote these for free using our King's CareerConnect platform on your behalf.
Events we are happy to promote, assuming compliance with our terms & conditions, include:
- Presentations, division spotlights or firmwide events
- Open days, insight days and breakfast briefings
- Diversity events, conferences and workshops
- Educational business games and skills workshops
- Conversations with senior leaders and influencers
- Dinners and recruitment receptions
- Careers fairs and conferences

Flexible options to support bespoke activity
Perhaps you want to host an event just for King's students - we can help schedule these activities, confirming a slot in our calendar to minimise potential clashes with competitor organisations and then promote these for free using our King's CareerConnect platform on your behalf.
If you do not have a suitable platform to deliver virtual events we can facilitate your delivery using MS Teams or MS Teams Live.
- For maximum exposure we recommend events take place between September - November and January - February.
- No more than two bespoke virtual employer events will take place in any one slot (lunchtime/evening) and only one from each industry sector*
- We operate two-hour slots from 12:00-14:00 (Mon-Fri) or 18:00-20:00 (Mon-Thu).
To ensure the comprehensive marketing of your event to students, we strongly advise a minimum of three weeks' notice in order to book, promote and deliver your proposed event.

Tailored physical presentation packages
Whilst it can be of benefit to showcase your organisation in a familiar environment, student feedback suggests that individual on-campus presentations are often not the best way to engage. Please review the below information carefully to assist your plans.
Instead, consider promoting your own national activities with us or engaing through more educational masterclasses, skills workshops or panel events. Many of these events are pre-scheduled through the year, so students will be aware of these slots in each semester, and as we do not promote individual employer names for our educational workshops, they are a great way for organisations without broad brand appeal to start your engagement with us.
Presentation Packages 2024/25
In response to student feedback, and considering the limited space options available across our campuses, we have taken the decision to limit on campus presentation packages.
If your organisation is keen to host a specific presentation with us, please arrange a consultation with the relevant Employer Relations & Development Adviser first to discuss options.
If we consider your event may be mutually beneficial:
- For maximum exposure we recommend events take place between September - November and January - February.
- No more than two employer presentations will take place in any one slot on a single campus (lunchtime/evening) and only one from each industry sector*
- We operate two-hour slots from 12:00-14:00 (Mon-Fri) or 18:00-20:00 (Mon-Thu).
- Presentations may only be held at Denmark Hill, Guy's, Strand or Waterloo Campuses (details of faculties and teaching locations are available in the booking form)
- We require a minimum of three weeks' notice in order to book, promote and deliver your proposed event.
