Marina Micunovic
My studying a within the Department of European & International studies started as a part of a story which began in December 2011 in Montenegro, where I applied for a Chevening Scholarship, awarded by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. After the highly competitive and very long process in August 2012 it was finally confirmed that I would enjoy the benefits of this gift that the UK Government provides to students in over 116 world countries in the world.
I am happy to have had the opportunity to exchange views and opinions on the main topics of contemporary Europe with students coming from all parts of it.
I choose to study for an MA in European studies knowing that my main subject of study would be Europe, within the European Union's boundaries, including its identity, history and the main challenges that the EU face.
