Scientific images from researchers at the CGTRM have been transformed into stunning embroidery templates, allowing you to create your own unique piece of science-inspired art while speaking to scientists about their research.
You can now embroider stem cells at home, using our DIY kit and downloadable embroidery patterns.
- Stitch 'n Stem @ DIY Kit – All the instructions you need to get started
- Pattern printouts – High quality templates ready for printing - included in the DIY kit above
- Image descriptions – Learn all about the cells your stitching and see the original research images behind the template designs
Simply print the patterns onto water soluble transfer paper (such as found on Amazon here) using a standard printer, stick onto a piece of fabric and start sewing!
Once you are finished embroidering your beautiful cells, wash the pattern away by rinsing with water, and share your creations with us on Twitter using the #StitchnStem.
Find out more about our stem cell research on Facebook @CSCRM, Twitter @KCLStemCells and Instagram @KCLStemCells.
