Our students go on to shape the digital future by bridging technology, culture and society.
Graduates of King's Digital Humanities courses have embarked on professional careers in social and technology research, in think tanks, the arts and the cultural sectors, in government and public administration, in international development, NGOs and education, in media and communications globally, as well as in marketing and public relations or journalism. We also welcome them to pursue a PhD with the Department.
Well equipped with understanding digital practices, they work as much in cultural institutions as they work in the digital industries and technology businesses. Our students gain an international outlook and currently pursue successful careers in the UK and all over the world: in Europe, the US and Canada, South-East Asia, India, Japan and Australia as well as South Africa.
Their employers value their ability to understand the digital, their analytical skills and knowledge of digital methods as well as their intimate understanding of today’s socio-technical developments, and their ability to communicate. We stay closely in touch with our alumni who regularly share their experience with our current students and stay connected via the King's College London Alumni Association.
