Collaborations and artist residencies across the university
King’s Artists provides opportunities for artists to be resident within faculties across the university. It aims to support residencies that connect students and staff across disciplines to embrace creativity and take risks, develop new thinking and creative outputs.
King’s has a long history of hosting and working with artists across its faculties and within its research areas. Nearly 60 artist residences have connected academic research with art through a range of media including painting, printing, literature, music, performance, photography, video, ceramics and fashion. Many of the artists and academics have gone on to present work and research developed at King’s on national and international platforms.
If you have an artist residency at King's that could be featured here, or you would like to add information to an existing King’s Artist page, please contact culture@kcl.ac.uk.
