In November 2016, King's hosted and co-organised a high-level workshop on 'What Lawyers can do about Climate Change', along with A4ID and Allen & Overy.
This event sought to widen the discussion about the role of lawyers in relation to climate change, beyond their obvious roles in public interest litigation and advising on international law developments. The workshop covered aspects of both non-contentious and contentious legal practice and considered how climate change is becoming, and will become, a mainstream issue for lawyers of all legal sub-disciplines.
The briefing paper from this event explores these issues in more detail and is available for download below.
