Outcome & Assessment Measures

We develop and utilise robust person-centred outcome measures that capture patients' highly varied, often complex circumstances and provide fundamental research and clinical practice tools. These cover physical, psychological and spiritual needs, as well cultural, service and rehabilitation concerns.

Our Palliative Care Outcome Scale (POS) is one of the most widely used measures with diverse patient populations living with life-limiting and advanced illnesses. It is used in more than 135 countries worldwide to help improve care and for assessment in clinical practice.
