Chaplaincy Assistants

Chaplaincy Assistants are usually considering a vocation to ordained ministry and spend a year with us as part of the discernment process.

They work alongside the Chaplains and are responsible for many of the day to day practical tasks in the Chaplaincies across all of the King's campuses, and can be contacted by email.

Our Chaplaincy Assistants for 2024-25 are Rosi Bartlett, Felicity Amberson Jones & Isaiah Morris.

Rosi Bartlett

RosiRosi completed her BA in Religion, Politics, and Society at the University of Leeds in 2023. She then served for 10 months as a Parish Assistant in Wantage in the Diocese of Oxford, where she is discerning a possible call to ordained ministry.

Rosi is looking forward to experiencing university chaplaincy from a ministry perspective, having spent time in the Anglican and Roman Catholic chaplaincies as a student in Leeds.

In her spare time, Rosi enjoys reading, watching comedy and detective mysteries, spending time with friends, and the occasional game of tenpin bowling.

Felicity Amberson Jones

Felicity AFelicity studied Mental Health Studies part-time between September 2022 and August 2024 before starting work as a Chaplaincy Assistant. She is passionate about mental health, particularly providing holistic care and reducing stigma around mental illness.

She is an active member of St John's Waterloo church where she serves, reads and occasionally sings badly, in addition to co-leading activities specifically for young adults and is focused on inclusive and affirming church where all are welcome irrespective of gender, sexuality, disability, race, ethnicity and all identities.

Felicity also enjoys reading, journalling, swimming both indoor and outdoor and is currently beginning level 3 British Sign Language (BSL).

Isaiah Morris

Isaiah MIsaiah Morris is a recent Master’s Graduate in Christianity and the Arts, at King’s College London. He is particularly interested in how art helps us to be human, and what this might mean in relation to religion.

Before moving to London, Isaiah grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and worked as a New Media and Light artist for music festivals and brands across the country (and ran a club night!).

Isaiah has a deep love for drinking good coffee, cooking, and reading. When not busy with either of these three, he is likely at a gig or in a gallery.
