The Advanced Leadership Program in Healthcare is expertly designed to empower leading industry stakeholders to deal with this new era of growth and change. Course context
The healthcare industry is evolving faster than ever before. Nimble innovation engines and the massive rise in healthcare investment are pushing the envelope on what's possible. Shifts in the workforce and the rising adoption of new digital technologies are steadily pushing the industry into the future.
Get equipped to handle this shift and join our expertly curated, three-module executive programme. With this jointly guided programme by King's Business School and IE Business School, you will gain insights within global healthcare, develop the framework for delivering business and social value in healthcare, all while gaining the tools to foster strategic growth.
Through a combination of online learning and face-to-face sessions, this executive programme ensures a flexible and enriching environment that encourages collaboration and networking.
Programme schedule
This course is taught as a combination of in-persion classes and virtual sessions. The in-person classes will be taught from 08:30 - 18:00 at both King's Business School in London, and IE Business School in Madrid.
The online sessions will be taught between 16:00 - 17:30 GMT / 17:00 - 18:30 CET.

Course directors
Professor Dana Minbaeva is a Professor of Human Resource Management at King's Business School. Her research on strategic international HRM has appeared in top international journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Resource Management, and many others. Dana has published over 70 articles in international peer reviewed journals, as well as numerous book chapters and reports. She received several national and international awards to research achievements, including the prestigious JIBS Decade Award 2013. She is the Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB).
Dana is actively involved in the MBA and executive teaching at various European business schools. Previously, she has taught in Denmark, Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Finland and Germany as well as having held visiting research positions in Ireland, Australia and Canada. Dana is a founder and research partner of Nordic Human Capital Advisory ApS.
Antonio Martín MD, PhD has nearly 30 years’ experience in the medical profession in a broad range of roles, driving innovation in clinical development and medical affairs. As well as being a certified family medicine specialist and having five years’ ER experience, his roles have included head of medical affairs for specialty care, senior medical director, chief scientific officer, chief medical officer and global head of medical affairs.
Antonio obtained his medical degree in 1995 at the Autonomous University of Madrid and went on to achieve his PhD in Preventive Medicine and Public Health from Rey Juan Carlos University in 2008. He also holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College, Dublin, and he’s a graduate of IE Business School’s Global Advanced Management Program.
Antonio is currently global head of Medical Affairs Immunology at Sanofi, and a faculty member at IE Business School.
