Professor Debra Bick's paper on the BUMPES trail, which she co-authored with colleagues from Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has won the prestigious British Medical Journal Award for UK Paper of the Year. The study looked at how to improve the likelihood women who had an epidural of giving birth without an intervention.
