The National Student Survey is now open
The National Student Survey is running at King’s from Monday 4 February to Tuesday 30 April 2019.
It is an annual survey of all final-year undergraduates across the UK. It asks 27 core questions relating to 9 aspects of their student experience, 6 questions about their experience in practice, and 3 questions about their personal development “chosen by King’s). Student also have the opportunity to make positive and/or negative comments in two open-ended questions. The NSS is their chance to reflect on their journey, and look back at when they started at King's almost 3 years ago, and where they’ve got to today.
On Monday 4 February, students will receive an explanation email from King’s ahead of ahead of the Ipsos MORI communications. On Wednesday 6 February, they will receive an email from the Faculty encouraging them to complete the NSS as an honest reflection of their 3 years with us. On Thursday 7 February, they will be sent an email invitation to take part from Ipsos MORI, the independent body conducting the survey. The email will contain a personalised survey link - when clicked, they will need to enter their date of birth and it will take them directly into the survey. The survey takes about 10 mins to complete and all responses are anonymised.
NSS data is an important tool for helping prospective students make decisions about what and where to study in the future, and is an influential source of public information about higher education.
