King's alumna wins RCN London Merit Award 2017

Congratulations to Danielle Tiplady, a former BSc adult nursing student at King's on being awarded the Royal College of Nursing's (RCN) London Region Merit Award for her outstanding service to the RCN and it's members in the region. She was presented with the award at Congress at the London Region's special welcome event on Sunday 14 May.

On winning the award, Danielle said, "I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to have received the RCN's London Merit Award at Congress this year in reward for my campaigning for nurses. I would urge everyone to get involved in their local union as there are huge opportunities to shape and develop nursing practice in your region."

Danielle graduated from King's in 2016.
