King's College London Professor named in HSJ's Top 100 Clinical Leaders 2015
Anne Marie Rafferty, Professor of Nursing Policy, has been named in the Top 100 Clinical Leaders 2015 announced byHealth Service Journal on Tuesday (6 July).
The list celebrates those working in healthcare who, not only excel in their professional specialism, but whose impact extends beyond their professional sphere and has an impact and influence on health policy, service transformation and innovation.
Professor Rafferty’s role in the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery, which was the first its type in the country, is to understand how the policy puzzle fits together. Professor Rafferty has strived to ensure the role nurses play in governance and healthcare is enabled and valued.
She said: “I am honoured to be part of this list of top clinical leaders who are enabling change. We are all passionate about using our positions to help influence, and improve the healthcare experience for patients and staff.”
