Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme
The Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery at King’s College London is pleased to announce that it has been awarded two scholarships on its MSc Clinical Nursing programme as part of the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme (CSSS) for the academic year 2011/2012.
The Shared Scholarship Scheme, a joint venture funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and King’s, offers students from developing Commonwealth countries the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom at King’s, one of the top 25 universities in the world, and the best nursing school in London (Complete University Guide 2011).
The School of Nursing & Midwifery has been awarded two of these scholarships for students undertaking the MSc Clinical Nursing programme, which is now in its third year. The programme, designed specifically for international students, has attracted students from all over the world as well from the Commonwealth, including current students from Canada, Nigeria and Ghana. The Shared Scholarship Scheme will continue to broaden access to this international master’s programme.
Under the Shared Scholarship Scheme, successful applicants will have their fees and air travel paid by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission and will receive a living allowance provided by the School of Nursing & Midwifery.
