The Centre for Modern Literature and Culture launches exciting new collaborations
This year the Centre for Modern Literature and Culture is launching new collaborations with the Southbank Centre and the White Review (Jan-Feb 2019) and an expanded version of the Ivan Juritz Prize.
The Ivan Juritz Prize for creative experiment will have three winners, one for each category: text, image, sound. Each winner will receive £1000 and two weeks’ residency at Cove Park.
The deadline is 30 March 2019 and the prize is judged by Rachel Cusk, Jeremy Harding, Gillian Wearing and Ryan Wigglesworth. The prize is open to postgraduates from throughout Europe. Please see www.ivanjuritzprize.co.uk
for details.
The collaborative events at the Southbank Centre will be held in October. There will be a staged reading of Emily Wilson’s translation of The Odyssey and two related events, detailed below. The events are ticketed but there’s a 20% discount for friends of the Centre for Modern Literature and Culture for the live reading and the introduction. Please put in the promo code ODYSSEY when booking by 7 October.
