Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History 2017
Description
The Classics Department at King's College London will be hosting the Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History (AMPAH) on 25 March 2017. AMPAH is an annual event that has been held since 1985, making it one of the oldest yearly postgraduate conferences in the field of Classics. it provides doctoral students with an opportunity to gain experience presenting their work and to network and share ideas with fellow postgraduates as as staff in ancient history.

Dr Sebastian Matzner's book Rethinking Metonymy: Literary Theory and Poetic Practice from Pindar to Jakobson has been published by Oxford University Press as the latest addition to the new Classics in Theory series. To celebrate the launch of Dr Matzner's book, the Department of Classics and Comparative Literature at King's College London will hold a joint research seminar.
