Musicians; Lisa Ueda (violin) & Daniele Rinaldo (piano) engage with these questions by exploring how war has contributed to shape contemporary Japan through a musical journey. The repertoire -including pieces by Messiaen, Stravinsky and Debussy- seeks to explore the relationship between Japanese and European musical aesthetics that consolidated in the first half of the 20th century.
