Description: The acclaimed Austrian composer Thomas Larcher will join Grammy-winning producer Michael Haas to discuss extracts from his symphonies 'Kenotaph' (2015-2016), dedicated to those who drowned crossing the Mediterranean, and 'All Tage' (2010-2015), which engages with lyric texts by the poet Ingeborg Bachmann. Michael Haas is currently Senior Researcher at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the author of 'Forbidden Music' (Yale UP, 2013). Attendance is free.
