AI, Quantum and Microtechnologies in Healthcare | Monday 25 November 2024
Monday 25 November 2024, 18:00 GMT | 14:00 EDT | 11:00 PST
For over a decade, King’s engineering researchers have been working side-by-side with healthcare professionals to develop patient-centred innovations. Combining King’s research expertise with the clinical knowledge and infrastructure of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, they formed St Thomas’ MedTech Hub. A unique facility in the UK and within Europe, aiming to accelerate the integration of medical devices into health systems to enable better and earlier diagnosis and more effective treatment of disease and illness in patients.
We’ll be joined by leading King’s experts who will discuss cutting-edge research across medical imagining technologies, surgical robotics, quantum science and how these technologies are changing medical diagnosis, treatment and designing a future that empowers us to live well with technology.
