Keeping InTouch with King's
New InTouch magazine is out now!
Our Firm Foundations issue of InTouch is out. In this this autumn edition of our online alumni magazine, we dig into inspirational stories and features involving graduates, staff and students who found their feet at King’s – and went on to make their mark. Highlights include:
- International music icon DJ Cuppy (Business & Economics, 2014) discussing the power of education and philanthropy
- Professor Tim Spector OBE – trailblazing nutritionist, King’s academic and ZOE app founder – reflecting on his eclectic career
- Mother and daughter Miata and Kaela-May chatting about breaking down barriers to education through the Parent Power initiative
- Our 2023 Alumnus of the Year, Jasvir Singh CBE (History, 2001), talking about his work as an inter-faith champion and LGBT rights advocate
- A peek inside our Visitors Book to remember the great and the good who’ve joined us on campus recently. These include actor Stephen Fry, Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson MP and Nobel Prize laureate Professor Pierre Agostini
We also catch up with other alumni in our ever-popular Class Notes section. Stories here include:
- Michael Aubrey (Law, 1961) recounting his life as a teacher, adventurer, author and, latterly, an artist who’s painted the King’s Quad
- Georgia Horsell (MA Modern Literature and Culture, 2022) telling us why she swam 33km to raise money for a charity seeking to end violence against women and girls
- Richard Warwick (Civil Engineering, 1964) telling us how his cohort of civil engineering graduates celebrated the 60th anniversary of their results day
Explore all the above and much more in our latest issue.
InTouch magazine reaches more 140,000 around the world twice a year, and features articles, interviews, and stories from across our alumni community – from career highlights and leadership lessons to reflections on life at King’s.
