Loving and being loved are important constituents of a flourishing human life. In this course we’ll investigate the nature of love, and consider some of the ethical questions it raises. We will evaluate different theories of love, we’ll consider the boundaries of love (what kinds of entities can we love), and we’ll think about the kinds of duties love can generate.
