Module description

Please note One Semester Modules are not available to Postgraduate students.

This module is broadly equivalent to A2 Basic User, Waystage level of the Common European Framework.

Students will have to take an online language ability assessment  before they are officially enrolled.

This module is available for students who are here for the full year or semester 2 only.

Assessment details

Written examination & oral examination

Oral exam (40%), 2-hour written exam (60%). Full year and Spring Term students will undertake all assessments according to the module syllabus.

Teaching pattern

2 x 2-hour language class per week for 1 semester (10 weeks)
