Module description

Please note One Semester Modules are not available to Postgraduate students.

This course is broadly equivalent to A2 Basic User, Waystage Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. 

Students will receive a language ability assessment on arrival before they are officially enrolled.

 

This module is available for students who are here for the full year or semester 2 (Spring term) only.

Oral exam (40%), 2-hour written exam (60%)Semester 2: Students here for the Full year/semester 2 only will undertake all assessments according to the module syllabus.

Teaching pattern

2 x 2-hour language class plus 1-hour task-based e-learning per week (10 weeks)
