What is the creative and campaign services framework?
We've selected the best creative and campaign suppliers for King's by running a rigorous EU tender process, which means that all creative design, creative proposition, media, fundraising, copywriting, photography, video and web/SEO projects must be referred to one of these appointed suppliers. These 43 agencies work as an extension of the Brand & Marketing team and handle all creative and campaign work for King's in order to promote, protect and strengthen our prestigious reputation.
What can our designers do for you?
The King's Creatives work as an extension of King’s College London and are able to create a vast array of high quality, brand compliant graphic design for your projects. Prospectuses, infographics, stickers, websites, brochures, banners, posters, newsletters and and all sorts of merchandise can all be created in line with King’s branding guidelines by commissioning one of these agencies. Our designers are talented communicators and know how to best use design to broadcast your message effectively using print or digital means.
What is the process?
Gather your information and write your brief using the preparatory creative Word document, then get it approved by your final approver. Once approved, transfer your briefing instructions into the final creative brief online form - it will automatically be sent to all interested agencies. Talk to the agencies about your project, preferably in person. Asses the agency responses - usually presented as a written proposal reflecting your brief back to you and explaining all aspects of how they would work on your project. Choose the agency that you judge demonstrates the best understanding of your project. The designer will seek brand approval around proof 2 of the project so you can be sure that the finished product is brand compliant.
Describe the challenge
Although there are some cases where a specific document is required, often there are multiple ways of approaching a project. If you have a problem or message you need to communicate, it’s often useful to ask a designer to get involved early on, rather than waiting until you can tell them exactly what you want created - designers love a challenge! This will enable our designers to use their expertise to advise on the best way of communicating your message.
