How can the Money Advisers help me?

Our Money Advisers are impartial and practical. We listen to your personal situation and preferences and, where possible, set out a plan for resolving the case and support you to take the next steps you choose.

We can advise King’s students on all aspects of UK statutory funding, fee status, hardship funds, budgeting, money management, welfare benefits, council tax liability and debt.

Whilst we work closely with our colleagues in the Student Funding Office and Credit Control, we are not decision-makers with respect to hardship fund applications or payment plan requests. Where appropriate, we can help you to follow the relevant processes when making funding applications. KCLSU Advice can provide independent advice on university processes if required.
