Events run by King's Careers Service are open only to King's current students, King's GradClub members and King's contract research staff. In exceptional cases and by prior arrangement students of other colleges belonging to The Careers Group, University of London may be admitted.

If the venue is shown just turn up. Where it is necessary to register or book a place we provide a link to the appropriate method - just follow the link for the event you wish to book. Please note that booking a place is a commitment to attend and if you fail to show up you may be refused tickets to future events.

If you would like to suggest additional events not covered by our programme, please email your idea to our events team. We can't guarantee to take up every suggestion (it may not be possible to get suitable speakers, for example) but all ideas will be considered seriously.

Overview and group exercise on last ditch attempt to save Setanta. We advised Access Industries on its attempted acquisition of a majority stake in the sports broadcaster, Setanta. This session will demonstrate that there is much more involved to being a lawyer than just knowing the law.

The Metropolitan Police Leadership Academy is organising a one and a half day event on 7 & 8 January to give detailed information to those interested in becoming a Police Officer, and in particular providing information about the High Potential Development Scheme (HPDS). This should interest second and third year students who will be applying after the current recruitment freeze. There will be a chance to ask questions and find out more about working as a police officer, joining the scheme, the selection process and eligibility criteria.
