Join Nabila Khan from Amnesty UK, who will talk about the human rights situation in the province and the treatment of the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities.
Since 2018, the Chinese state has been engaging in grave crimes against humanity against these groups. These crimes include the mass incarceration of over 1 million Uyghurs (10%) of the population in 're-education camps.'
Nabila Khan will discuss the situation in Xinjiang, and what we can do as activists to help bring justice to the Uyghurs. A Q&A with Nabila will take place at the end of the talk.
