These workshops are for King's students and alumni.

Thinking about your next steps? Is sustainability something you care about? Learn more about how to become a sustainability changemaker in any profession with a new series of sustainability careers workshops this April.

As sustainability is a growing field across many different industries, the Sustainability Team have organised three workshops to help you pursue sustainability no matter what your career aspirations might be. The sessions will provide you with the skills to embrace the future of sustainability in a positive, interactive and inspiring setting.

Workshops will be led by inspiring professionals from different fields, who will join to share their invaluable insights and help you on the sustainability careers journey. To make the workshops as relevant as possible for different disciplines, the sessions will start with a general introduction to the topic followed by theme-specific breakout groups (including healthcare, environment, and arts/entertainment).

This second workshop of the series will look at case study examples to determine how companies are working towards their sustainability goals and whether they are on track or just 'greenwashing' (a type of marketing to make the organisation more appealing to those who care about the environment). This is an excellent skill to have when working with different companies to see how you can ensure that their sustainability agenda is moving in the right direction.

Sustainability is a hot topic right now and many companies are jumping onto the bandwagon, but how do we know if their commitment is genuine and actually achievable? Join this workshop to find out.
